The Money Race
- He voted for two tax cuts for the wealthy, which collectively, and in addition to the Republican Congress' mismanagement of the budget, have led to the nation's largest-ever budget deficits.
- He voted to take overtime pay away from workers.
- He voted for HR1 -- the GOP-backed prescription drug benefit bill.
- He has consistently voted on measures that benefit his father's defense company -- ManTech -- at the expense of Arizona's environment and common-sense approaches to border security.
- He lied about his experience in 2002, when he claimed he had worked in Senator Jon Kyl's office and worked to create legislation. Kyl responded: "He has never been employed in my office. He was an intern for approximately two months in the fall of 1999."
- He lied about his residency in 2002, claiming he had lived outside Arizona in just two ocassions -- when serving with a "defense department program" overseas, and while in law school. In fact, Renzi lived in Virginia after his stint with that DOD program, which ended in the late 80s, running an insurance business.
